How does ArchAgent’s Mobile Marketing service work?
ArchAgent’s mobile marketing allows a consumer to text a message from their mobile device to an ArchAgent short code in order to receive additional information on a specific property. This message triggers an immediate message back to them with text and a link to property photos. You then receive a notification that the property has been accessed for follow-up purposes.
What is a Short Code?
Short codes are special telephone numbers, significantly shorter than full telephone numbers, which can also be used to address SMS and MMS messages from mobile phones or fixed phones.
How does one send a message using a short code?
Typically, a consumer sending a text message to a short code for information or to register a vote will be responding to a call to action such as, “Text 12345 to 35244”. In this example, 12345 is your message while 35244 is the short code (or phone number) you send your message to.
Do I need to put software on my computer?
No software is required. You add your properties through a simple web site that you can access from any computer connected to the Internet.
What do I need to manage my mobile marketing service?
All you need is an Internet connection. For ease of use, we highly recommend a broadband connection.
Can I pay to have an ArchAgent set my system up?
Absolutely, ArchAgent will be happy to set up your entire system no matter what service you are subscribing to. Simply contact an ArchAgent representative at 800-882-9006 to discuss pricing.
Can I purchase your Mobile Marketing product by itself?
Yes. Mobile Marketing can be purchased as a standalone product or in conjunction with a Powerline toll-free number and/or a Single Property Website.
Do I have to pay every time someone requests information?
No, we do not charge you for individual text messages. We believe the service will be more valuable if you know exactly how much it will cost you each month. There are no "per-message" or "per-lead" charges.
Can I purchase rider signs from ArchAgent?
Yes, no matter the service, ArchAgent has sign riders available for purchase.
Does the home buyer have to pay anything?
We do not charge the home buyer anything to use our service. They are charged for the text message based on their wireless plan with their carrier.
How many characters are supported through SMS?
Messages can be up to 160 characters long which is a standard maximum for the Short Messaging Service.
What are the size requirements for my photos?
Our Mobile Marketing product has no size requirements on your photos as it will automatically size the photos for you. However, if using the Mobile Marketing product and Single Property Websites, we recommend a minimum image size of 360 pixels X 360 pixels as this is the minimum size allowed for Single Property Websites.
Is there an easy way to resize images?
There is no need to resize images for use with the Mobile Marketing product as it automatically sizes the images to the optimal size.
Can I re-use my mobile marketing code/sign on a different service?
Unless you have a single property website address on the sign, yes you can. However it is important to note that your mobile marketing code remains linked to the same listing code within the ArchAgent Powerline ™ system.
